PALS and Thank You Cards

So I FINALLY got the cutest graduation thank you cards in the mail. I ordered them forever ago with my graduation picture. I feel so bad taking such a long time to send them out, but hopefully it is worth it.

I also did my PALS training class today. Pediatric Advanced Life Support. I am hoping that when I apply for jobs it will demonstrate that I am really eager to learn. Plus, I really want to work in a pediatric area and I know it is harder to get a job in a specialized area without experience.

I learned SO much today too. It was a small class and all the other nurses gave me such good advice about my career and nursing; they seemed so excited for me too as a new grad. The teacher was the most adorable little British lady. No joke, she honestly said "jolly good." I nearly died it was so cute.

I'm loving the nurse hat too!
