Once we arrived at the airport we took an hour long bus ride to our hotel in Orange Walk. It's two stories and pink and adorable. I'm rooming with Leah! I even saw a little lizard near the ceiling before he ran off.
We had our orientation with our amazing ISL guide, Denise. Afterward we got treated to some amazing homemade food. Fried plantains, rice and beans, and some fantastic chicken. All the Caribbean type food made me miss Miami!
